  • My Grasp on Reality

"You're still worth it to me." -My Epic

I've just found myself a month older, without much recollection of the last several weeks. Sharon and I have been working through the night to meet deadlines on videos, home construction, among our normal routine (if there was in fact something so organized). I don't write to be negative. We made it. And I feel God's hand on my shoulder. I'm looking forward to better days and other challenges. And I'm looking forward to Christmas. It always makes me happy to see lights going up around town.

Today we celebrated Michael's 1st birthday (officially tomorrow afternoon - I'm sure Sharon will have pictures up before too long :^) We had a great time with family and I'm reminded how blessed I am to have a good chunk of relatives and extended family, right here in Dutchess County. It was moments like today that I felt blessed, even after some of the hardest weeks of my life. God is faithful. And now I need rest.

Good night, and Happy Thanksgiving to all~

  • Old Games are Back In

I had a little time to myself today (I know it was Mothers Day). Sharon had some quiet time to work on cake decorating and Michael was asleep, so I took it upon myself to see if I could get TIE Fighter (Win95 DOS based game) working on my current computer. With a bit of research and trial and error, I'm happy to say I did finally mange to play a VERY old game for about fifteen minutes, sound effects, music, and all, with my joystick I might add. Good day. :)

  • What to say

"Places so close will take you so far." -Beloved

So I've just about finished another week. I'm taking Friday off so Sharon and I can travel. Her best friend from college is getting married and it's a bit of trek. Soon coming up is our third wedding anniversary on the tail end of April (April 29th - yes I do remember the date! :^) They've gone by really quickly, yet I'm amazed at what's come about since then.

Maybe this a really short entry - oh well. Can't say I didn't try making a few notes to look back on years from now.
